Meet our Admin Team

Hello, my name is Felecia Stinson, and I am honored to serve as the Assistant Principal of Triangle Elementary School. I earned my undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education from Alabama State University and hold both a Master's and an Education Specialist degree from Troy University. Most recently, I completed my Educational Leadership Certification at George Mason University.

Before joining Triangle, I served as the Equity and Restorative Practice Liaison in Alexandria City Public Schools, where I also taught Advanced Academics (formerly Gifted and Talented). Over the years, I have taught students in grades K-5 in Alabama, Georgia, and Washington D.C. My focus as an educator has been on fostering inclusive learning environments, building strong student-staff relationships, and supporting restorative approaches to discipline. These experiences have strengthened my commitment to ensuring that every child feels valued, supported, and empowered to succeed. 

I believe in cultivating a school culture that prioritizes academic excellence, social-emotional growth, and strong family and community partnerships. 

Outside of school, I enjoy traveling, watching documentaries, reading, and spending time with my family. 

I am truly excited to partner with our students, staff, families, ad community to make this a year full of growth, collaboration, and success as we continue to Build Champions Together! 

I am, Jennifer Knapp, proud Assistant Principal of Triangle Elementary School. Originally from New Jersey, I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from William Paterson University. I completed a Master’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Phoenix and recently completed a leadership program through Liberty University, earning a professional license in Educational Leadership.

I am passionate about supporting students, staff, and families to help create a positive and successful school community.  As the Assistant Principal over special education, I am particularly dedicated to advocating for and supporting students with disabilities.

I have been happily married for over 25 years and am the proud mother of two adult daughters. My oldest daughter, Samantha, works as a production manager in the insurance industry and resides in Richmond. My youngest daughter, Alexis, is currently a student at the University of Mary Washington.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, reading, traveling, and biking with my dog, Joey.

Dear Tiger Community,

My name is Kristin Burton, and I am honored to serve as the Administrative Intern here at Triangle Elementary. I have spent the past 26 years in the field of education as both a special education teacher and an administrator. I earned my undergraduate degree in Liberal Studies from Longwood College, followed by a master’s degree in teaching students with mild to moderate disabilities. I also hold a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from George Mason University.

Outside of school, I cherish every moment spent with my niece and two nephews—I absolutely love spoiling them, and they are a constant source of joy and pride. I am an avid reader and rarely go anywhere without a book in hand.

My passion lies in ensuring that every student receives the support they need to grow, succeed, and thrive. I am excited to share this passion with the Tiger community and look forward to contributing to your students’ learning and development.
