Dear Triangle Elementary School Parents/Guardians:
Welcome to the 2025-26 school year! I am so excited to start my 7th year as the #1 Tiger and Proud Principal here at Triangle Elementary, where we are "Building Champions Together!"
We will continue our focus on Reading/Literacy skills this year utilizing our HMH reading program in all grades and UFLI in grades K-2. UFLI is an explicit and systematic program that teaches students the foundational skills necessary for proficient reading. It follows a carefully developed scope and sequence designed to ensure that students systematically acquire each skill needed and learn to apply each skill with automaticity and confidence.
In Mathematics throughout all the grade levels, we will be introducing our new math program Savvas/Envision. We will continue our focus on Number Sense and having students justify their work. It will also be imperative that students have quick fact fluency (adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing).
Every new school year brings the promise of new learning! We will be working hard to accelerate our students through the curriculum. At Triangle Elementary, our theme this year is “Level Up!”. We will “level up” and go the extra mile for success!
