The vision for Triangle Elementary School students is that every student will acquire the academic, career and personal/social skills to reach their fullest educational potential and successfully manage their lives as healthy, responsible, competent and productive citizens who respect themselves and others.
The mission of the Triangle Elementary School’s Professional Comprehensive School Counseling Program together with the community, is to develop responsible citizens who are lifelong learners and productive problem solvers by ensuring every student acquires competencies (knowledge, skills and attitudes) needed in academic, career, personal and social development through diverse and challenging educational experiences.

Dr. Quarterman
My name is Dr. Deidra Walker-Quarterman. I was born and raised in Savannah, Georgia. However, have been living in Prince William County for the past 20 years. I have provided services and lent my knowledge and expertise to various settings including psychiatric hospitals, residential treatment facilities and the educational system.
I am new to Prince William County Public Schools and Triangle Elementary as a School Counselor.
I have a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice Administration from Park University, Master’s in Human Services from Capella University and Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. I also have a PhD in Counseling Studies from Capella University. I love working with students and empowering them to find their passions and helping them better understand themselves and the community they belong to so that they can live their lives freely and happily.
My passion is working with students and ensuring that every student receives an equal opportunity to succeed. I aim to provide support and resources so that every student is successful. My personal mission is to live a balanced life, to always lead by example, and to welcome life’s challenges as an opportunity to learn and grow. Honesty, integrity, dependability, tolerance, and teamwork are qualities I value dearly. My personal mission is to act as an instrument of positive change in my family, my work, and my community.
I enjoy gardening, spending time with my family, and traveling. My husband and I have one son, who is in middle school, one daughter entering kindergarten, and one son who is in high school.

My name is Bill Parker, and I am SO excited to be here as one of your school counselor’s! While I will be teaching K-2nd grade, I will be available to all students (and families!)
